We are the Schiffermiller Family. Ken and I(Ruth) have been married for thirty one years. We have four children, Joshua, Tiffany, Chris, and the caboose, Crystal, our youngest one.

Our family has always enjoyed the mountains of Georgia. Much of my family settled in different places in Georgia. It was my Grandfather (Pee Paw on the farm) who instilled in me the importance of buying land, and my father who instilled in me the beauty of the land, to stop and smell and see what is actually given to us to enjoy, and drink in.

Some years ago, we began building a dream nearby the picturesque town of Blue Ridge, GA. We wanted a place of seclusion, where our family could go for refreshment of spirit, mind and body. In today's fast-paced rat-raced life, the family unit often is left lacking. God has blessed us with the finished product of that dream. In the mountains of Blue Ridge, Georgia. We have been given the opportunity to manage a 46 acre cabin site nestled in the mountain range. This little piece of heaven awaits to make an indelible mark on you and your family. This hideaway has plenty of room to roam the woods with the family or sit by the babbling creek. At the heart of it all, two cozy cabins with plenty of amenities throughout as well as nearby unending daytime excursions. With Amicalola Falls, Helen, Dahlonega, Mercier Apple House and Unicoi State Park just a stone-throw-away this is the perfect getaway from the average city life.

As our children have, built forts, played in the creek, fished in the pond, picked wild flower bouquets, and blackberries. We invite your family and friends to come and “set a spell” as Pee Paw would say. The Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia are a perfect place to visit. You can “set a spell” or venture out and explore the many unending daytime excursions that the area lends itself to. Come and visit, anytime, is a good time!!!

At Heaven Scent Road

Spreading the fragrance of Life the way life is supposed to be lived.

Blue Ridge was founded in 1886 as a result of the arrival of the Marietta and North Georgia Railroad. Because of the railroad, Blue Ridge developed as a center of business and in 1895 Blue Ridge became the county seat. In the early years, downtown consisted of five hotels and several boarding houses; however, today downtown Blue Ridge has grown into a celebrated tourist destination. The quaint atmosphere of Blue Ridge features antique and specialty shops, galleries, and restaurants. Vacationers may also enjoy the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, a 3 1/2 hour, 26 mile roundtrip train ride which winds along the beautiful Toccoa River.

Our beautifully decorated cabins are nestled on 46 acres of virgin land in the scenic, natural setting which God had displayed there years ago. Enjoy a walk along the tranquil creek and hidden springs which run throughout the property or take pleasure in a day of fishing in our lush pond, perfect for the little fishermen in your life.

Our cabins overflow with cherished family memories and we welcome you to create your own. We invite you to relish in the fragrance of life, the way it is supposed to be lived.
